              ROBERT WITECK
Half of the dynamic duo that runs
Witeck-Combs Communications,
Bob Witeck, along with Wesley
Combs, have turned out a
sure-fire hit with their new book,
Business Inside Out, which
highlights strategic marketing to
the LGBT community.  Here, the
charming and witty Witeck pays a
personal visit to disclose why he
loves the morning, the floor and
London--but not in that order.
Place of birth?
Washington, D.C.

Describe yourself in three words.
I only need two: bon vivant.

What is your greatest source of inspiration?
People.  My partner, family, friends, children.

What is your favorite piece of literature?
The next book I plan to read.

What is your next big project?
Redoing the bathroom in our house.  Seriously.  But with luck and focus,
perhaps another book.

What is your most admirable quality?
Sense of humor and someday, the knowledge when to check it at the door.

Morning or evening person?
Morning, morning, morning.

What is your favorite city?
London.

What is your favorite place to be creative?
On the floor.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Ice cream.

Night table reading?
Right now, Billy Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything.

Defining moment in your life?
The loss of my parents and my sister, different years and days, but all
significant to me.  And of course, twelve years [of a] joyful and loving
relationship with my partner, Bob Connelly.

What is your mantra for living?
People matter, not things.
