Page & Author Editor Presents at Lambda Literary Award Ceremony
NEW YORK, NY/June 5, 2005 - On June 2, Page & Author editor H.L. Sudler
presented the award in the Science Fiction/Horror/Fantasy category to Jim
Grimsley for his book The Ordinary at the Lambda Literary Foundation's annual
Lambda Literary Awards in New York, which honors excellence in LGBT books.
The awards, hosted by Lea DiLaria, preceded the weekend long BookExpo
America, also in New York, and which featured such authors as Walter Mosley,
Michael Cunningham, Zane, and celebrity authors Spike Lee, Kim Catrall, and
John Turtouro. BookExpo America will move to Washington, D.C. May 19-21,
2006 for its conference next year.

P&A Co-Sponsors Authors Cafe at Journalists Convention in Miami
MIAMI, FL/September 2006 - Page & Author co-sponsored for a second year in a
row the Authors Cafe at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association
convention, this year in Miami. The event was held on September 9, 2006 and
was hosted by Bob Witeck, CEO of Witeck-Combs Communications and
co-author of Business, Inside Out. Presenting authors included Samiya Bashir,
Michael Luongo, G. Winston James, Alex MacLennan, JoSelle Vanderhooft, Eric
Marcus, Josh Rosengren and Daylle Deanna Schwartz.
Page & Author Editor Reading in Spirited Book Tour
WASHINGTON, DC/October 2006 - Page & Author editor H.L. Sudler traveled this
summer with publisher and editor Lisa Moore and editor G. Winston James during
the reading and book signing tour of Redbone Press's critically acclaimed release
Spirited: Affirming the Soul and Black Gay/Lesbian Identity. Sudler's essay From
Here to Eternity is included in the book and he has appeared with authors Tracee
Ford, Dorothy Harris, Tony Farmer, Clarence Fluker, Monique Meadows,
Kathleen Morris, Tonya Parker, and the Reverend Abena McCray, with multiple
readings in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Page & Author at Spirited Book Release Party in Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, DC/June 30, 2006 - Page & Author co-sponsored the
Washington, DC book party for Redbone Press's new release Spirited: Affirming
the Soul and Black Gay/Lesbian Identity. The event, held at Busboys & Poets on
June 25, featured contributing writers Tony Farmer, G. Winston James, Tonya
Parker, Abena McCray, the Reverend Beverly Saunders Biddle, Tracee Ford and
